Experienced Senior Estimator/QS with refurbishment/fit out experience
Gaysha are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator/QS to join our growing team.
Based in Central London, Gaysha is an established refurbishment contractor working with some of London’s largest landowners.
The Role
- Reading drawings and completing detailed measurements for lump sum tenders.
- Obtaining quotes for all scope requirements from sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Collating detailed price lists for everything needed on each tender.
- Calculating the cost of materials, labour and prelims for tendered scope.
- Compiling tender submissions and issuing to potential clients in a timely manner.
- Presenting bids to clients and answering their mid and post tender queries.
- Attending meetings and site visits with potential clients.
- Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
- Working in a fast-paced pre-construction team environment.
The Person
- 5 years+ experience working as an Estimator
- Experience of the Fit-out/refurbishment sector
- Computer literate
- Good knowledge of JCT forms of contracts
- Organised team player
