We are committed to supporting charities at both local and national level. As a business, we support several charities and our employees are encouraged to offer time and support to local causes in the areas we work.

Charities we support

For #GivingTuesday 2018, Gaysha staff chose to donate a large selection of food and essentials which we delivered to Westminster Foodbank.

Gaysha supports The Lighthouse Club a charity which provides financial and emotional support to construction workers who have suffered an injury or long term illness.

Gaysha has pledged their support for a local charity, not far from our head office, Pimlico Toy Library. Gaysha is giving time and resources to help the library with any maintenance and improvement works that they may require.

The Pimlico Toy Library, a registered charity, was founded in 1983 and offers local children, under eleven years old, the chance to play in a safe, stimulating child -friendly atmosphere with access to a stock of over 1900 toys, available for home loans.

Gaysha MD, Ian Elsey is a keen cyclists and has undertaken two gruelling challenges in recent years to raise money for charity.

On Deloitte Ride Across Britain in September 2015, Ian cycled 900 miles in just 9 days, to raise £2,454 for Help The Heroes and British Paralympic Association.

On SSIT Big Bike Challenge 2018, Ian completed a 200 mile circuit around Salisbury, in just 24 hours and raised £1100 to help Southern Spinal Injury Trust (SSIT) assist people with spinal cord injury, enabling independence and quality of life.

Gaysha staff members, join fellow contractors, Bastows, PJ Harte and SW Bruce every year to take part in  Grosvenor Estates Annual Dragonboat Regatta, in support of Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre.

In 2018 the team was delighted to come a very respectable third out of 31 teams, helping to raise over £40,000 for a fantastic cause.
